About this specimen
Violet fluorite cubes form an open group above a pale quartz base, with small pink rhodochrosite areas near the middle. The larger cubes have lighter outer edges and deeper purple centers, while their corners appear softened by additional faces. A low viewing angle reveals space beneath the upper crystals and shows how the colored group projects beyond the narrower white support. The visible contrast between pale rims and purple interiors makes the individual fluorite forms particularly easy to follow. Dimensions: 2.3 × 2 × 2.6 cm / 23 × 20 × 26 mm / 0.91 × 0.79 × 1.02 inch. Estimated weight: 12 g / 0.42 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
