About this specimen
A group of water-clear quartz crystals with scattered black-green epidote inclusions frozen inside them, plus a little epidote on the surface; the transparency is high enough that the inclusions read like specks suspended in glass.
Sichuan included garden quartz, an 18 g thumbnail chosen for clarity; best viewed with a light behind it.
At 4.3 × 3.1 × 1.7 cm (1.69 × 1.22 × 0.67 in) and 18 g (0.6 oz) it is a miniature specimen that fits a miniature cabinet or a desk display. Sold exactly as photographed; any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note is disclosed in this listing.
