About this specimen
Bright yellow-orange spheres sit among clear-looking calcite crystals on a broad, shallow matrix. Some rounded groups gather along the upper rim, while smaller spots interrupt the paler growth through the center. The close photograph reveals fine radial texture on the larger yellow forms and the different angles of neighboring calcite faces. The identity of the yellow component is unresolved in this draft; its color and growth pattern are recorded without treating an uncertain source spelling as a confirmed mineral name. Dimensions: 3.2 × 1.5 × 2.2 cm / 32 × 15 × 22 mm / 1.26 × 0.59 × 0.87 inch. Estimated weight: 8 g / 0.28 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
