About this specimen
Tiny purple fluorite crystals are scattered through a sugary, tan crystalline matrix on this specimen, which the seller records as yttrium-bearing fluorite. The surface is covered in small, sparkling crystals with pale highlights. The seller notes attractive fluorescence, and the source video includes a UV-light sequence; we have not tested it ourselves.
Minerals: Fluorite (yttrium-bearing, as recorded by the seller)
Approximate size (height × width × depth): 4.8 × 4 × 3 cm / 48 × 40 × 30 mm / 1.89 × 1.57 × 1.18 in
Estimated weight: about 92 g / 3.25 oz
The seller sized this piece against a 5 cm specimen box. All three dimensions and the weight are visual estimates from the video, not ruler or scale measurements.
The photographs are still frames from the video of this exact specimen, the piece you will receive.
