Guizhou acicular creedite at 19 g; a miniature with a delicate spray on a colourful base.
A hydrated calcium-aluminium sulfate-fluoride, creedite is rare in good crystals, and the sparkling sprays from Guizhou are the reference material for most collections.
Guizhou's Qinglong antimony-fluorite district is the classic source for creedite sprays and continues to produce zoned fluorite and calcite.
By size it is miniature, 4.6 × 2.7 × 2.5 cm (1.81 × 1.06 × 0.98 in) and 19 g (0.7 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
