About this specimen
Fujian large-crystal apophyllite at 324 g; a cabinet piece of a rare Chinese apophyllite.
Apophyllite's water-clear to pale green pyramids and pearly cleavage faces make the species unusually photogenic.
Fujian is China's most productive fluorite province, and its granite-hosted veins also yield the garnet, quartz and calcite that fill modern collections.
The piece is cabinet in size, 9.3 × 8.5 × 3.1 cm (3.66 × 3.35 × 1.22 in) and 324 g (11.4 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
Every specimen here is photographed and catalogued individually before listing.
