About this specimen
Glossy black babingtonite crystals scatter across a pale mint-green prehnite surface, with quartz forming a contrasting light base.
A larger dark crystal rises near one end while smaller reflective faces spread across the soft green growth below it. The black, mint and pale quartz areas give this compact Zhaotong specimen a sharply patterned front. A separate reverse view reveals the quartz-bearing back, and the oblique photograph shows how the darker crystals stand above the green surface. This listing is for the exact individual piece shown in the photographs and video. The supplier identifies the minerals as babingtonite, prehnite and quartz, and records Zhaotong, Yunnan as the locality.
