About this specimen
Three glassy blue fluorite cubes with white frosted cores, the look collectors call blue-and-white porcelain, sit across a broad grey quartz-druse plate with patches of pink rhodochrosite along the lower edge. The largest cube is at the centre and stands proud of the druse.
A cabinet-size Wuzhou plate at 17 cm and over a kilogram; the porcelain fluorite from this Guangxi mine is one of the more distinctive Chinese fluorite types of the last decade.
Size 17.2 × 14 × 6.5 cm / 6.77 × 5.51 × 2.56 in; weight 1100 g / 38.8 oz. Large cabinet specimen, is a statement piece for a display case or mantel. What you see in the photos is the piece you receive; any known repair, mount or treatment is disclosed above.
