About this specimen
Rounded green malachite blankets a low matrix with clear quartz from DR Congo. Botryoidal clusters range from mint to deeper forest green, while small transparent quartz points sparkle along the front edge and between the larger mounds. The specimen has a compact domed profile with mineral growth across most of its upper surface. Two views show the repeated rounded habit, color zoning, and natural base. Dimensions: 5 × 4 × 3 cm / 50 × 40 × 30 mm / 1.97 × 1.57 × 1.18 inch. Estimated weight: 54 g / 1.90 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
