About this specimen

Indonesian pyrite at 5.2 cm and 80 g; a small cabinet piece, priced with the damage disclosed. Keep dry. A cluster of brassy pyrite cubes with mirror-bright faces; the supplier notes some crystals are damaged.

Iron sulfide with a brass-gold colour, pyrite is heavy, bright and geometrically satisfying, with striated faces on the best crystals.

The Mamuju district of Sulawesi is the source of the botryoidal blue-green chalcedony sold as grape agate.

The piece is small cabinet in size, 5.2 × 3.9 × 2.1 cm (2.05 × 1.54 × 0.83 in) and 80 g (2.8 oz). Disclosed condition: some damaged crystals. The price reflects it and the photographs show the affected area. Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.

Specimens are photographed and catalogued one at a time before they reach this page.

Will I receive the exact specimen shown?

Yes. Every specimen is a single, one-of-a-kind piece, and the photographs show the exact item you will receive — never a stock photo.

Is this Pyrite natural?

Yes — specimens like this form naturally. As is standard in the trade, some pieces are gently cleaned or trimmed; we photograph the actual specimen and describe its origin and condition conservatively.

How is it packed and shipped?

Orders ship worldwide with fully insured, tracked delivery, carefully packed to protect fragile crystals.

Can I return it?

Yes — there is a 14-day return window.
