About this specimen
Two pale candle-like quartz points rise above smaller rounded growths and scattered translucent fluorite crystals on this Inner Mongolia cluster.
The larger point has a softly textured surface covered with small rounded growths, while the neighbouring point gives the cluster its paired, sculptural outline. Smaller translucent crystals appear between the pale quartz growths and along one side. Five complete photographs show the front, both sides and the reverse of this exact specimen. The supplier identifies the association as quartz with fluorite and describes oil-bearing inclusions in the fluorite; that inclusion identification is a supplier statement rather than an independently tested result. Natural irregularities remain visible along the crystal edges.
