Jinkouhe, Sichuan, baryte at 6.6 cm and 349 g; a small cabinet piece. A group of clear, glassy baryte blades grown into a chunky block.
Baryte's tabular blades are its typical habit, and its weight in the hand is the easiest field test.
Jinkouhe in Leshan, Sichuan, is the source of prehnite, gypsum and epidote specimens from a road-cut skarn discovered in the 2010s.
