About this specimen
A lavender square is visible within the broad clear-looking face of this fluorite crystal. Paler outer areas frame the colored center, and uneven white edges interrupt its lower and side outlines. The second view changes the depth and brightness of the internal purple area while revealing stepped surfaces near the upper edge. Without a large attached matrix, the relationship between the central color and the surrounding pale crystal remains easy to follow. Dimensions: 3.9 × 2.7 × 3 cm / 39 × 27 × 30 mm / 1.54 × 1.06 × 1.18 inch. Estimated weight: 33 g / 1.16 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
