About this specimen
A clear-looking fluorite crystal sits within a sparkling dark magnetite matrix. Several pale triangular faces meet near the center, while smaller gray crystals surround the main fluorite and follow the uneven outline of the base. The second view changes the reflection through the central crystal and reveals more of its depth above the dark surface. This compact specimen has a roughly rounded front, with the light fluorite providing a distinct focal point among the densely packed metallic-looking grains. Dimensions: 2.4 × 1.4 × 2.3 cm / 24 × 14 × 23 mm / 0.94 × 0.55 × 0.91 inch. Estimated weight: 8 g / 0.28 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
