About this specimen
A single clear-looking quartz point has long, straight prism faces and a sharply defined upper outline. Dark specular hematite lies along part of the tip and upper edge, creating a narrow contrast against the pale transparent-looking crystal. The second angle shows a different face of the point and a small dark area near its top. Fine internal reflections brighten the lower portion, while the smooth central faces make the sparse dark association especially easy to distinguish. Dimensions: 1.5 × 1.5 × 3 cm / 15 × 15 × 30 mm / 0.59 × 0.59 × 1.18 inch. Estimated weight: 9 g / 0.32 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
