About this specimen
A few dark goethite spheres stand apart on a pale honey-colored fluorite surface. Fine white quartz growth traces irregular patches around them, adding a granular contrast to the smooth rounded forms. Two larger spheres sit near the upper edge, with smaller dark spots lower on the piece. The closer photograph makes their separation especially clear and reveals the uneven translucent-looking base beneath, producing a restrained arrangement of dark rounded accents against a much lighter host. Dimensions: 5.4 × 3.1 × 3.6 cm / 54 × 31 × 36 mm / 2.13 × 1.22 × 1.42 inch. Estimated weight: 89 g / 3.14 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
