About this specimen
Dark purple fluorite crystals are distributed along an upright pale quartz-bearing matrix. Several rounded-looking groups gather across the middle, while smaller violet spots extend toward the top. The supporting surface has a rough beige-white texture that remains visible between the colored crystals. A side view reveals how some of the larger fluorite forms project beyond the matrix edge, creating an irregular silhouette with a narrow upper section and a broader concentration of purple growth below. Dimensions: 4.5 × 4 × 4 cm / 45 × 40 × 40 mm / 1.77 × 1.57 × 1.57 inch. Estimated weight: 75 g / 2.65 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
