About this specimen
A deep blue fluorite crystal from Nigeria shows broad translucent faces and smoky violet zoning. Natural chips along the edges reveal clearer blue windows, while scattered tan and dark inclusions remain visible beneath the surface. Outdoor light brings out indigo color through the thick central mass. Two close views show the crystal's blocky geometry, internal fractures, and changing transparency from face to face. Dimensions: 3.5 × 4.2 cm / 35 × 42 mm / 1.38 × 1.65 inch. Estimated weight: 28 g / 0.99 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
