About this specimen
Deep blue fluorite presents a rounded mass of intersecting faces, each covered with fine, rippled surface texture. Raised edges catch pale reflections, while the recesses remain a much darker blue. Quartz is recorded with the fluorite and appears in smaller pale areas near the base. The compact outline looks different from each side, with one view emphasizing the broad textured top and the other showing the more pronounced crystal steps. Dimensions: 3.4 × 2.5 × 3 cm / 34 × 25 × 30 mm / 1.34 × 0.98 × 1.18 inch. Estimated weight: 27 g / 0.95 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
