About this specimen
A deep purple fluorite crystal rises above a small honey-colored calcite base. Broad violet faces form the upper outline, with lighter edges and fine surface texture visible in the close view. The calcite supports the crystal from beneath and along one side. The second photograph changes the reflection across the main purple face and reveals the narrow attachment below it, giving the specimen a strong contrast between its dark upper crystal and warm pale base.
