About this specimen
A deep violet fluorite group projects from a broad pale matrix. Numerous small steps and lines cover its darker faces, while lighter purple edges appear where thinner areas catch the light. Several neighboring forms overlap into a rounded-looking central mass. The second view reveals more of the stepped side surface and the smaller violet crystals near the lower rim, emphasizing the difference between the dark textured fluorite and its muted pale backing.
