About this specimen
A slender, glassy aquamarine prism in pale sky blue, complete at both ends, with a small white dolomite crystal clinging to one side and faint dark inclusions along the length. It is transparent enough to read light through.
Double-terminated aquamarine from Namibia's Erongo region is a classic gem-crystal specimen; a loose prism like this sits well in a small stand or a thumbnail box and shows its colour best against a light background.
