About this specimen
Several dusty, matte-purple fluorite balls, their surfaces recrystallised into a fine second generation of cubes, sit on a plate of bright white quartz-and-fluorite druse with a few glassy pale-green fluorite cubes between them. The colour is called Morandi, for its muted tone.
Recrystallised purple fluorite is an unusual Fujian look, closer to velvet than glass; a cabinet-size plate that stands flat.
It measures 9.4 × 8 × 3.2 cm (3.70 × 3.15 × 1.26 in) and weighs 142 g (5 oz), a cabinet-sized piece that makes a strong centrepiece on a shelf or in a display case. Sold exactly as photographed; any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note is disclosed in this listing.
