About this specimen
A single large, honey-yellow fluorite ball with a smooth, slightly frosted surface sits on a base of grey and white matrix with small quartz crystals around it. The ball is complete and dominates the piece.
Henan botryoidal yellow fluorite at 68 g; one of the larger egg-yolk balls we have handled, with the matrix as a natural stand.
It measures 6.7 × 5 × 2.3 cm (2.64 × 1.97 × 0.91 in) and weighs 68 g (2.4 oz), a small cabinet-sized piece that displays well on a shelf or in a cabinet. What you see in the photos is the piece you receive; any known repair, mount or treatment is disclosed above.
