About this specimen

Two water-clear fluorite cubes step apart along this specimen, one turned slightly off the axis of the other, both so transparent that the acrylic behind them shows through. The colour is barely there at all — a faint lilac cast that only registers at the thickest points. Toward the right end, dark mineral inclusions gather in feathery patches like ink suspended in glass, and pale internal veils trace the outlines of earlier, smaller cubes buried inside the present ones.

Those veils and inclusions are the most informative part of the piece: each one marks a growth surface that was later overgrown, so the crystal preserves its own earlier shape and a snapshot of what else was in the fluid at that moment. Colourless fluorite of this clarity is a Xianghualing signature. At Mohs 4 with perfect octahedral cleavage, the crystal wants soft storage and no pressure across its corners.

It measures 5.3 × 2.3 × 2.3 cm and weighs 45 g, balanced on a clear acrylic block with white putty. The pictures record this individual crystal group.

Frequently asked questions

Will I receive the exact specimen shown?

Yes. Every specimen is a single, one-of-a-kind piece, and the photographs show the exact item you will receive — never a stock photo.

Is this Fluorite natural?

Yes — specimens like this form naturally. As is standard in the trade, some pieces are gently cleaned or trimmed; we photograph the actual specimen and describe its origin and condition conservatively.

How is it packed and shipped?

Orders ship worldwide with fully insured, tracked delivery, carefully packed to protect fragile crystals. A display base is included.

Can I return it?

Yes — there is a 14-day return window.
