About this specimen
Bright orange Fanta-colored garnets are scattered across blocky cream feldspar on this compact Fujian miniature. Several well-defined crystals rise above the pale matrix, and smaller garnets appear between feldspar steps for color across the entire display face. Six macro photographs document the 4 × 2.6 × 1.5 cm piece, glassy orange luster, natural matrix contacts and individual crystal forms.
Dimensions: 4 × 2.6 × 1.5 cm / 40 × 26 × 15 mm / 1.57 × 1.02 × 0.59 inch. Estimated weight: 19 g / 0.67 oz, calculated from the measured bounding volume.
