About this specimen
Golden-yellow creedite forms a rounded pumpkin-like crust around carlhintzeite from Guizhou. Closely packed radiating growth creates lobed sections across the surface, shifting from lemon yellow to muted lavender-gray near the center. The compact upright profile is almost entirely covered by the fine crystal texture. The reverse view reveals additional lobes and the gradual color transition across the mineral coating. Dimensions: 2.8 × 1.6 × 3.5 cm / 28 × 16 × 35 mm / 1.10 × 0.63 × 1.38 inch. Estimated weight: 13 g / 0.46 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
