About this specimen
At the heart of this polished Brazilian quartz sphere floats a large mass of green phantom, built up in many thin layers so it looks like a forest-green mountain or a piece of moss sealed in ice. White veils cut across it, and fine sparkling inclusions surround it in the clear quartz.
Near the base of the phantom a small blue-violet rainbow flashes in several views. The rest of the crystal is clear and bright, giving the green plenty of room to stand out. A substantial display sphere.
