About this specimen
Several clusters of black, metallic hematite in rosette and bladed form sit on a flat grey rock plate, the largest rosette at the top left with a bright, steely lustre. The rest of the plate is plain matrix.
Sichuan hematite at 43 g; a thumbnail where the black rosettes stand out against the pale rock.
