About this specimen
A big sphere with a lot going on. Lit from behind, the clear quartz fills with blue needles scattered like a starry sky, many of them grouped into angel-feather sprays that sweep across the interior. Through the middle rises a layered silver mountain of white flecks, built up in tiers.
Larger rainbows sit inside the quartz as well, one flaring pink, green and violet near the rim, others glowing softly at the edges. The quartz is clear and transparent, so all of this is visible at once. The sphere is fully polished and substantial, filling a whole hand.
