About this specimen
Large dark stibnite blades cross a warm yellow quartz matrix from Guizhou. Several thick metallic crystals radiate outward from the center, showing fine lengthwise lines and bright silver-gray edges. Smaller stibnite forms emerge between the main blades, while sparkling honey-colored quartz covers the supporting surface. The reverse view reveals the depth of the crystal group and additional dark projections, giving the specimen a strong contrast between elongated metal and granular pale host. Dimensions: 5.3 × 2.2 × 4.5 cm / 53 × 22 × 45 mm / 2.09 × 0.87 × 1.77 inch. Estimated weight: 83 g / 2.93 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
