About this specimen
Broad translucent purple surfaces are interrupted by irregular white quartz-rich patches. Darker violet lines trace parts of the outer margins and internal boundaries, while shallow pits and uneven steps texture the larger faces. The specimen spreads horizontally with an irregular crystalline edge.
The alternation of broad purple areas, darker seams and granular white patches makes the composition more varied than a single-color crystal mass.
