About this specimen

Pale mint-green and transparent enough to read a fingertip through it, this Yaogangxian fluorite is built from two dominant cubes locked together at an offset, with smaller ones stepping away behind. White cotton-like clouds drift through the interiors, an olive-green dusting picks out several edges, and a dark seam of the same material clings beneath the base.

Those clouds are inclusions — fluid and fine mineral matter caught in the lattice while the crystal grew quickly — and they are the difference between a specimen and cut gem rough: they record the growth rather than spoil it. Fluorite cleaves perfectly in four directions at Mohs 4, so corners as sharp as these are worth protecting: a single knock against a hard surface is enough to lose one.

It measures 4.3 × 3.6 × 4.1 cm and weighs 85 g, shown in the hand without a mount. This is a one-off, and the shots above are of it directly.

Frequently asked questions

Will I receive the exact specimen shown?

Yes. Every specimen is a single, one-of-a-kind piece, and the photographs show the exact item you will receive — never a stock photo.

Is this Fluorite natural?

Yes — specimens like this form naturally. As is standard in the trade, some pieces are gently cleaned or trimmed; we photograph the actual specimen and describe its origin and condition conservatively.

How is it packed and shipped?

Orders ship worldwide with fully insured, tracked delivery, carefully packed to protect fragile crystals. A display base is included.

Can I return it?

Yes — there is a 14-day return window.
