About this specimen

A charcoal shadow floats through the middle of these Namibian cubes like weather trapped in glass. Around it the fluorite grades from pale mint at the frosted edges to one saturated emerald patch that ignites wherever light finds it, and a corner near the base carries an unexpected bruise of violet.

Nothing here has been cut or shaped: the cubes are naturally intergrown in near-parallel alignment, their faces textured with fine etch steps rather than mirror polish, which is exactly why the colour reads as depth instead of surface. The dark cloud is included material caught along a growth plane, and it gives the group an axis to look into. Fluorite (CaF2) is Mohs 4 with perfect octahedral cleavage — keep it clear of knocks and of sudden temperature swings.

Measurements are 7.1 × 6.6 × 3.8 cm at 260 g, shown in the hand so the scale of the cubes is honest. The cluster in these images is the cluster that ships, and no stand accompanies it.

Frequently asked questions

Will I receive the exact specimen shown?

Yes. Every specimen is a single, one-of-a-kind piece, and the photographs show the exact item you will receive — never a stock photo.

Is this Fluorite natural?

Yes — specimens like this form naturally. As is standard in the trade, some pieces are gently cleaned or trimmed; we photograph the actual specimen and describe its origin and condition conservatively.

How is it packed and shipped?

Orders ship worldwide with fully insured, tracked delivery, carefully packed to protect fragile crystals. A display base is included.

Can I return it?

Yes — there is a 14-day return window.
