About this specimen
Purple fluorite projects from one side of a pale mica-rich mineral group. Rounded stacks of cream-colored mica occupy much of the front, while darker metallic areas and pale quartz details appear between them. Arsenopyrite is recorded in the association. The angled view shows the violet fluorite extending beyond the layered pale surface, giving the specimen a narrow upper portion and a broader, more irregular lower cluster. Dimensions: 2.2 × 1.5 × 3.3 cm / 22 × 15 × 33 mm / 0.87 × 0.59 × 1.30 inch. Estimated weight: 11 g / 0.39 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
