About this specimen
A compact cluster of dark green to black epidote blades interleaved with small lilac-tinted quartz crystals, the two minerals evenly mixed across the whole face. The epidote has a bright lustre.
Yunnan epidote-quartz at 62 g, a locality less often seen for this pairing than Sichuan; a miniature with dense crystallisation.
