A small plate completely coated in royal-blue, velvety azurite, the fluorite beneath hidden by the blue crust; a few dark specks and a brown edge show at the base. The colour is intense.
Yunnan azurite over fluorite at 16 g; a thumbnail with the deepest blue in the copper world. Avoid dust; wash hands after handling.
