A small dark blue spinel crystal shows broad uneven faces and a subtly translucent edge under the supplied lighting. Fine pale lines cross the darker front, while the opposite angle reveals a rougher-looking side and a narrower lower section. It is believed to be cobalt-bearing spinel; no compositional test has been done.
