Soft, misty cloud inclusions swirl through this light smoky quartz sphere from Brazil, and in many views two of them cross to form a gentle X, like mist drifting through a valley. The smoky tone is pale, a faint grey-brown, so the sphere stays bright and transparent.
Fine hair-like fibres and speckled bands appear between the veils, and one view shows a darker, smokier zone low in the sphere. Every turn reveals a slightly different pattern of mist, which makes it a pleasure to handle. Polished smooth, natural and.
