About this specimen
Stepped purple fluorite forms a compact cubic tower on chlorite-rich matrix from Yaogangxian. Successive violet cubes climb across the face, with translucent edges, deeper smoky interiors, and fine green inclusions visible along the lower contacts. The reverse reveals additional growth steps and a darker natural base. Two close views show the architectural crystal stacking, subtle color zoning, and miniature 18 mm scale of the specimen. Dimensions: 1.8 × 1.7 cm / 18 × 17 mm / 0.71 × 0.67 inch. Estimated weight: 3 g / 0.11 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
