About this specimen
A ridge of pink rhodochrosite blades climbs the front of a tall white quartz matrix. The pink growth becomes broader near the top, where overlapping crystals create a petal-like crest above the paler base. Clear quartz points project along both sides and across the lower front. The second angle reveals more of the pink ridge's thickness, giving this upright Guangxi specimen a layered profile with distinctly different textures from its base to its crown. Dimensions: 3.4 × 2.3 × 5.7 cm / 34 × 23 × 57 mm / 1.34 × 0.91 × 2.24 inch. Estimated weight: 41 g / 1.45 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
