About this specimen
A violet fluorite crystal projects from the middle of a narrow pale quartz matrix. Smaller purple details appear farther down the front, while finely crystalline white growth covers most of the surrounding surface. The central crystal shows lighter edges around a darker interior. An angled photograph reveals its height above the matrix and the stepped direction of neighboring faces, giving the slender specimen a clearly defined purple focal point. Dimensions: 1.5 × 1.5 × 2.9 cm / 15 × 15 × 29 mm / 0.59 × 0.59 × 1.14 inch. Estimated weight: 7 g / 0.25 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
