About this specimen
Two white, flower-like calcite groups rest on a low quartz-covered matrix. The larger rounded cluster sits to one side, balanced by a smaller pale group across the top. Fine sparkling surfaces fill the darker space around them, setting off the layered calcite petals. A second photograph under ultraviolet lighting shows a vivid green response; use the ordinary-light view to judge the white crystal color and the compact, horizontal form.
