About this specimen
Numerous yellow fluorite cubes cover the broad face of a gray matrix plate. The crystals vary in size and clarity, with warmer honey tones concentrated toward the center and paler faces near the rim. Low ridges create shallow changes in level across the surface. The angled view shows the matrix thickness along the bottom edge and brings neighboring cubic faces into different reflections across the wide yellow covering. Dimensions: 10.8 × 2.9 × 6 cm / 108 × 29 × 60 mm / 4.25 × 1.14 × 2.36 inch. Estimated weight: 196 g / 6.91 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
