About this specimen

Set honey is the nearest match for the colour of this cube, and its interior is anything but plain: square ghost outlines stand stacked one within another, each a pause in growth frozen where it happened. A smaller cube shoulders in behind the main face, and both rest against a crumbly cream-white matrix that throws the gold forward.

Golden fluorite comes out of Chinese ground far less often than the greens and purples of the southern mines, and a Beijing cube with edges this crisp is worth setting apart within a fluorite suite. Fluorite (CaF2) rates Mohs 4 and cleaves on octahedral planes, so those sharp corners are the first thing at risk — lift the specimen by its matrix, never by the crystal.

Small and satisfyingly dense in the hand at 3.0 × 2.5 × 2.0 cm and 25 g, it arrives on the clear acrylic block seen here. Those photographs record this cube as it will reach you.

Yes. Every specimen is a single, one-of-a-kind piece, and the photographs show the exact item you will receive — never a stock photo.

Is this Fluorite natural?

Yes — specimens like this form naturally. As is standard in the trade, some pieces are gently cleaned or trimmed; we photograph the actual specimen and describe its origin and condition conservatively.

How is it packed and shipped?

Can I return it?

Yes — there is a 14-day return window.
