About this specimen
A large single fluorite crystal from Beijing shows a saturated yellow body edged by a narrow blue-gray zone. The broad rectangular face is translucent, with internal wisps and stepped growth visible near the lower corners. Two backlit mounted views reveal the color contrast, glassy surface, and approximately 50 mm source-referenced width. The photographs document this exact specimen and its natural variation under the seller's lighting. Both angles inform the final description and scale review. Dimensions: 5 × 5 × 3 cm / 50 × 50 × 30 mm / 1.97 × 1.97 × 1.18 inch. Estimated weight: 78 g / 2.75 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
