About this specimen
Pale yellow calcite blades form three rising groups around a tall white calcite core, giving this Inner Mongolia specimen a mountain-like outline.
A tapered centre stands above two shorter side groups, each covered with tightly overlapping, petal-like blades. Turning the specimen reveals white crystal areas beneath a warm ochre coating and the thin layered edges of the calcite. The supplier describes yellow calcite with a mountain-shaped white calcite core and yellow mineral-clay coating, with locality recorded only as Inner Mongolia. Three complete views from the supplier video show the front, reverse and opposite side; the matching video follows this same individual specimen as it turns. Irregular edges and small surface imperfections are visible.
