About this specimen
Deep royal-blue azurite rosettes punctuate a smooth green malachite coating from Anhui. Several compact blue flowers sit across the mint-green surface, with the largest cluster near the upper left and smaller accents descending toward the center. Fine dark specks reveal the natural matrix beneath the velvety coating. Both views show the broad sculptural silhouette and the crisp blue-on-green contrast continuing around the specimen. Dimensions: 2.5 × 1.8 × 3.5 cm / 25 × 18 × 35 mm / 0.98 × 0.71 × 1.38 inch. Estimated weight: 15 g / 0.53 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
