About this specimen
A transparent-looking stepped fluorite crystal with a blue-violet core rests on pale potassium feldspar from Fujian. Repeating geometric layers create a terraced cube, with the deepest color concentrated near the upper center. The feldspar base is soft cream and finely textured, giving the glassy fluorite a quiet contrasting platform. The reverse view shows the crystal's broad footprint and subtle pink-lavender zoning along its lower faces. Dimensions: 3.1 × 2 × 2.7 cm / 31 × 20 × 27 mm / 1.22 × 0.79 × 1.06 inch. Estimated weight: 17 g / 0.60 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
