About this specimen
Blue-violet fluorite crystals form a diagonal group across a dark matrix. Several larger faces overlap through the center, while white calcite and small quartz details break up the surrounding surface. Lighter internal areas appear within the violet crystals in the closer photograph. The wider angle reveals a pale projecting area at one end and a darker raised section at the other, giving the specimen an uneven, sloping arrangement. Dimensions: 3.7 × 1.8 × 2.4 cm / 37 × 18 × 24 mm / 1.46 × 0.71 × 0.94 inch. Estimated weight: 17 g / 0.60 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
